Amanda Laura Bynes (born April 3, 1986) is an American actor and fashion designer. She started acting in the early 1990s and early 2000s on the Nickelodeon series "All That" and "The Amanda Show". She starred in the sitcom What I like About You on the WB. Bynes has starred in many films through the years, including the Hairspray (2007 film). Beginning in 2013, she once rose again to public prominence for her legal and psychiatric troubles, which have been heavily covered by media.
